Here at Black Walnut Farms we pride ourselves on family raised animals. We have been operating our farm for over 10 years. We have a variety of goats available on our farm. We offer pure bred pygmy, Nigerian dwarf pygmy cross, and boar pygmy cross goats. New to the farm this year are the Kune Kune pigs and a few breeds of rabbits. The kune kune pigs are pure bred. We have beautiful single and double mane lion head rabbits. We have a variety of colors available to you. We also have Flemish giant rabbits. They make great pets as well as great meat food grade rabbit. Please see the pictures in the album below of some of the animals on the farm and babies born on the farm. Miniature Donkeys
The mini donkey is extremely intelligent and docile. They are very easily trained. Geldings or Jennets make the best pets. These donkeys make great companions. People will use them as companions for horses, ponies, and other donkeys. They are also used to protect sheep, goats, and other small livestock.
Goats
Pygmy goats are small stockily built goats. Does can weight between 53-75 lbs and bucks between 60-86 lbs. They are playful and fun goats. Pygmy goats make great pets. They are a hardy yet docile breed. Goats are social animals and should always be kept in at least pairs. They come in a wide variety of colors!
Kune Kune Pigs
These are a small breed of domestic pigs. They have a short upturned snout that discourages rooting. These pigs do not challenge fences. These are grazing pigs. They enjoy some lush green grass and hay. Kune Kune pigs are known as some of the friendliest most mild mannered pig you can raise.
Lion Head and Flemish Giant Rabbits
Lion head rabbits are a small breed of rabbit. They are very easy to care for. These rabbits are known to be very friendly. They are soft and fuzzy born with either a single mane are double mane.
Flemish Giant rabbits are the largest breed of rabbit in the world. They enjoy to be pet and taken for walks. Due to their size these rabbits need exercise.
